Welcome to the New LoreCrafted!

A few of you may still remember the old LoreCrafted site. While I enjoyed writing about World of Warcraft lore, I began to feel limited in my scope. It felt the most restrictive when I started my hiatus from Blizzard's content and began to re-explore other worlds. So, back in May, I closed down that version of LoreCrafted and began working on its new form.

You may notice that the site design has only changed slightly. Well, I put a lot of effort into the previous design, and it didn't get a lot of "air time" due to my waning interest in World of Warcraft. So, with this relaunch, I've simply removed all the WoW-specific imagery and replaced it all with designs from one of my upcoming projects: MythWalker.

What is MythWalker? Well, I'll explain it a bit more in coming posts, but the short of it is this: MythWalker is a card-based roleplaying game set in a cosmic fantasy multiverse. It's a tabletop game that I've been quietly developing for the past few months, and one that I'll be playtesting at this year's GenCon. I've always wanted to see a roleplaying game that was handled entirely with cards. I believe that the advantages of card-based games, if properly harnessed, can benefit the industry as a whole by introducing more people to this creative hobby. MythWalker is my first attempt at harnessing those advantages.

We'll see how it goes.

That said, if you're an old reader coming back for a new look, or if you're a completely new reader to this site and my style, I welcome you! I'll still be discussing lore here, but it'll be from many different settings instead of just one. I'll also be creating my own from time to time. Either way, I hope you enjoy your stay!
